London to Aberdeen

This journey description is the sequel to the previous topic, First Air Travel . This journey from London to Aberdeen started only after a five and half hour wait at the London Heathrow airport. I managed to spot my friends who were on the same flight. We were three of us now and we decided to hang around together during this long stopover. We went around the airport and had a look at all the shops, but were hesitant to spend any money, as everything looked very expensive. We finally were able to kill time.

It was after another half an hour's delay that we boarded the flight. The delay was due to fog. We boarded the flight, all set to reach the destination where we were going to spend the next few years of our lives.

Everything looked very scary as we were going to be in a strange country where we knew none. I sat next to a old lady during the journey and she explained me about Aberdeen, and it was indeed great to know a lot about the place, its climate and people even before touching down there.
